Our History

The company "Francisco Ternero S.L." finds its roots some 50 years back in time, when D. Francisco Ternero Sánchez, entrepreneur and founder, created the company with the tools present in those days, which nowadays would be considered rudimentary (donkey and cart, shovel,...), but they established the basic pillar of what today is the entity, a company focused on the future, but nevertheless, proud of its modest history.

The evolution from the wheelbarrow and cart to a large and modern fleet of vehicles of large tonnage (simple axles, double axles, dumpers) and a great variety of machines (loaders, mini machines, rotating with a high reach, etc.) of tires or chains, specialized for different types of work, as well for the city, as for agricultural and forestry. (Excavations, quarries, slope constructions, channel digging, groined walls, etc.).

In this period the company contributed to what nowadays are the bigger roads and avenues of Malaga City. Further, the son, D. Francisco Ternero Caña, incorporates into the company and complements and broadens the transport of grit as a result of the volume of excavations.

With the incorporation of this second generation, the company experiences a continuous and constant growth, thanks to the effort together with its directors, the staff, and above all because of the confidence our clients have deposited in us. Always with the aim to carry out high quality work, adjusted to the market´s general requirements, and in particular, tailored to its clients.

During the years D. Francisco Javier, D. José Manuel and Dña. Isabel Ternero incorporated into the direction of the company and D. Rafael, D. Miguel and Dña. Auxiliadora occupied operative positions within the company. The incorporation of this third generation settles this company pre-eminently as a family business, young persons with new ideas and new future projects allow the company to continue along the same road of growth and once again expand its field of activities.

The result of all this is the foundation of the company "Matater S.L." in 1997, denominated in 2004 to "DEMOLICIONES FT S.L.". Just as its name indicates it concerns a company specialized in the execution of interior demolitions of buildings as well as total demolition of all types of construction. Therefore they use modern work equipment like long-range machinery, shearing machines and hoisting cranes.
